Rotary Debutante Ball - Night of a Thousand Stars 2013

Its always an honour to be asked to help make an event
come to life!
Rotary approached me about coming up with decorative themeing for their event
this year.

This is what I came up with.

Here is one of the Debutantes being presented.

Fairy Light Ceiling draped from the centre
with a crystal drop centrepiece

The theme colour was purple
Which I draped along the walls and added balloon star accents.

Balloons are an affordable way to add themed accents to your event.

I had three stars over the doors that the girls were being presented through.
Added some shimmering white fabric
Dave Boxel (The Lighting Guru) added some purple light throughout.

We hung star clusters either side of the stage

Added draping and lights around the front of the stage.

I like to add columns to centre the staging.
It pulls the theme together,
adds the colour of the event
and generally just finishes the look.

I provided decor through the shop for some of the tables for this event.
But here are some cute little topairies that I also made.

And a decorated cake table to match in with the decor as well.

Catholic Debutante Ball - Hearts & Roses 2013

It was a pleasure to be involved with this years
Combined Catholic School's
Debutante Ball.

This is a voluntary position I fill along with my Co-Conveynor
Catherine.

This is our forth Ball working together
but my fifth that I have decorated.

The theme was
Hearts & Roses

and based on Alice In Wonderland.

Enchanted Events & Balloons provided many of the essential items for the ball this year.
The tickets were designed by me.

And I also made the Bouquet.

(Photos soon to come.)

The idea of the ball was to capture that fun
Harlequin design
and based in the Castle Garden where the Queen is playing Croquet.

The introduction to the night was our
White Rabbit!

This little guy was brilliant.
He ran into the hall to music and the introduction from Alice
who was sitting on the stair patting her kitten and reading a book
Alice in Wonderland.!

The White Rabbit ran into the hall in a tiz
saying
"Im late, Im late for a very important date!"
There were oooos and aahhs from the Audience...

Then the guys were presented to
from the Alice in Wonderland Soundtrack
It was amaising!
And the boys looked so great in their suits and a harlequin Bow Tie
and Rose Pin.

(Photo to Follow)

We had the most gorgeous cake by a little know local cake decorator!
And it was AMAISING!
It tasted so yummy and looked awesome!

The idea of the hall was to reflect the Harlequin idea.
So we did the tables in White & Black
One whole White Table and one whole black table.

The centerpieces were crystal goblets that are aviailable to hire
from Enchanted Events & Balloons
Sitting on round Mirrors with a single rose stem with diamante center.

The official table was both black & white.

The ceiling was draped in white fabric with fairy lights
and a black candelabra centerpiece.

The Stage had white draping from the ceiling
being lifted by giant red hearts
We had a couple of card soldiers at the sides keeping guard
and the castle walls along the font of the stage depicting the castle.

And as is my signature
The theme was lit up on the floor.

We had the heart arch
and some red rose trees.
Quite simple staging so that all the attention is on the Debs.

 And on the night.

Quaint Black & White Wedding - Gunnedah Greyhound Track

I was asked to help a lovely couple decorate for their special day!
I've known Rodney & Lisa for 10 years now,
Rodney was one of my very original balloon customers, so its always a bit special to decorate for friends.

These guys were on a budget, but that didn't stop the place from coming up a treat with a few pieces of decor.

We used the 5 meter backdrop with White LED Lights.

White Satin Table Skirt with Black Organza draping.
White LED Lights.

This is the Greyhound Track and the chairs a bit missmatched
and not really appropriate for a wedding settting,
however with a few adjustments to some older style covers,
the chairs came up a treat!

There were black & while balloons over the Bridal Table

A matching cake table.

We had Black Satin Runners
with a round mirror
and fishbowls with a little black and white floral arrangement.

 Just perfect for this couple.

It just goes to show, it doesn't matter where the venue
everything can look wonderful with just the right touch.
